Codenamed Bulldozer and Bobcat, these new x86 cores are designed for computers and servers, laptops, respectively. These two CPU cores from AMD set a new standard in performance and effeciency; Bulldozer allows users to run up to a combined 16 cores while the Bobcat concentrates on AMD's APU road map.
By taking multithreading to a new level, Bulldozer allows the computer to effeciently handle the work load while Bobcat concentrates on size and power consumption, making it a perfect component to notebooks. If you thought the Intel Cores weren't enough, keep an eye out of Bulldozer.
